A major Property Company requires a Chartered Building Surveyor, reporting to a Head of Projects, working closely with the colleagues within the Property function. The objective is your employment is to ensure the consistent delivery of projects, processes and procedures ensuring all stakeholders are consulted and concerns addressed by the specific project teams.
This new appointment requires the individual to effectively act as the employer’s agent to drive all aspects of contract administration across the projects. They will be an excellent communicator, a clear decision maker and an overall strong team player. The building surveyor to be seen as the first choice for all centre management and wider operational teams as the interface and coordinator between projects and operational management. This critical role encompasses the delivery of key business objectives, control and the hands-on project coordination of high-profile leisure and retail operation.
You will be results driven and have a track record that enables you to demonstrate the ability to drive operational improvement whilst ensuring first-class relationships and the delivery of exceptional customer service levels at all times.
The building surveyor will work closely with contractors, centre colleagues, central, regional and H&S specialists in the delivery of key business and project objectives. Control of statutory compliance, project coordination and risk, ensuring a high-quality project delivery service are key, the role will also require active interaction with other departments, including asset management, marketing, commercialisation, ICT, construction in the delivery of any technology related projects.
