Our client is a prominent corporate company with numerous brands and an operational property spread throughout the UK. They are seeking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS/CIOB) to focus on a full remit of property refurbishment, small projects, contract administration, professional work and day to day issues generated from the portfolio. You will report to the Head of Building and be part of thriving property function with the full support of fellow professionals within the team.
•To facilitate a detailed fit out brief.
•Prepare and present feasibility plans and prepare cost plans for approval.
•Instruct and coordinate external consultant team.
•Work closely with the Internal Project Management Team.
•Be responsible for ensuring deliver a legally compliant outlets on time and within budget.
•Adopt a proactive working relationship with internal and external customers to deliver an efficient service.
•Continually look for ways to improve the manner in which tasks are dealt with, feeding back to management ideas and implementing agreed improvements where necessary.
•Track annual savings/costs to the business ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times
Ideally, we require suitably qualified Building Surveyors who will have gained experience in PPM, professional and remedial works but are now looking to build on that experience with an operational focus. This role will allow you to develop your skills and not chase fees. If your experience focuses on industrial property then that's an additional benefit. If not but you like what your reading then get in touch. You will be confident Building Surveyors, both in your ability to tackle our client's workload and handling in-house operations and external consultants on a daily basis. You'll also enjoy the prospect of travelling across the UK investigating our portfolio.
