It is likely that you may be talking for two thirds of the interview to enable the interviewer to gather information about you. It is important, therefore, that you are precise and detailed with your reply and avoid waffling at all costs. Before answering think `Why have they asked the question and what information are they looking for?` Be positive in your replies and make sure that your conversation flows in a natural manner. As an interviewer there is nothing worse that a candidate who is vague with their reply and who tries to avoid the question. If questions are not answered properly with detail, you will not do yourself justice and may come across as indecisive with a lack of conviction.
